Since I was young, I have been fascinated by prehistoric creatures. I have always dreamed of painting a picture of that wondrous world, and finally, I have accomplished that. Mammoths, Smilodons, dinosaurs... those giant and mysterious animals have sparked my imagination, just like many other children.
In the painting, I not only depicted those creatures plainly, but I also wanted to tell a story about life. At the beginning and the end of the painting, I painted the image of an ancient Egyptian mother and the Buddha. The mother represents birth, the beginning of life, while the Buddha symbolizes extinction.
I believe that life is the most beautiful and marvelous gift that the universe has bestowed upon our planet. This painting is a way for me to express my gratitude for that invaluable gift.
