The idea for this painting started after I visited the MOCA museum in Thailand, where I saw they depicted a lot of their historical symbols. I wanted to draw a female general and an elephant, an image that is very familiar to the people of Vietnam.
While drawing at home, I decided not to make clear the specific image of any symbol. Just a traveler, walking on the path they have chosen, to feel the path.
